Closure Due to COVID-19

St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District

The St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District is functioning as normal as we can while monitoring the developing situation associated with COVID-19.

The Port Administration Building will be closed until further notice in order to help prevent contact and exposure to the virus. Essential employees have remote connectivity to their communications accounts and will be teleworking in order to continue daily administrative functions and services to the extent possible.

The Port’s top priority is the health and safety of its employees, tenants and community. Essential personnel will continue to report such as security and supervisors. All other employees will work on an as-needed basis.

The St. Bernard Port is prepared to meet this challenge and will continue to do what is best for our employees, tenants and community.

If there is an emergency, please contact Eric Acosta, Port Security, at 504-342-6289.

Contractors and Tenants can contact Ted Roche, Director of Operations, at 504-628-5027 for information.

For non-emergencies, please leave a message on our main telephone line 504-277-8418.
